We develop strategies to preserve, promote, and protect caves, cavers, and caving. We also overthrow tyranny, institute and preserve representative democracy, promote fellowship, and win at backgammon. We also walk dogs.

meetingS
We recruit interested and like-minded individuals, and then meet to define goals and strategies. Other times we meet for a beer at the pub.
Teams
We form teams to execute our plans and strategies. Sometimes we have contests with prizes. There is no 'I' in "Team," but there is one in "Win."
Execution
"What's the plan, Louis? "Ain't no friggin' plan! The plan is to get down to Aintry!" Sometimes the plan is lunch; other times, it is revolution.
Closure
"It's is all about tolerances," said the engineer to the physicist. "You'll know when you're close enough to reach out and close the deal."
We the Cavers of the National Speleological Society, in Order to form a more perfect Society, promote American Speleology, insure the Conservation and Protection of Caves, provide for the safe and enjoyable exploration, promote the general Fellowship of Cavers, and secure the Blessings of Speleology to Ourselves and our Posterity, do hereby ordain and establish this Party for the benefit of all Caves and Cavers.
